The Stinson Sentinel, ‘Flying Jeep’ of the Generals
The Sentinel was the preferred liaison aircraft of the Generals during the Second World War. Like its brother-in-arms the Piper L-4, it was capable of landing on rough runways, fields or roads that were barely developed. However, being more powerful and spacious, it was also faster.
